Ring Size Guide

Choosing the correct ring size is essential to ensure your QZAL piece is both beautiful and comfortable to wear. Whether you're purchasing an engagement ring, a wedding band or a meaningful gift, this guide will help you find your perfect fit.

Finding Your Ring Size

There are several ways to determine your ring size accurately.

Visit QZAL (Recommended)

For the most accurate measurement, we recommend visiting our QZAL Fine Jewellery showroom, where our jewellery specialists will professionally measure your finger using industry-standard ring sizing tools. This complimentary service ensures your ring is measured precisely, helping you choose the perfect fit before placing your order. No appointment is necessary, although appointments are recommended during busy periods. If you're unable to visit us, you may also visit any professional jeweller who can accurately measure your finger using a ring sizer.

Measure a Ring You Already Own

If you already have a ring that fits comfortably on the intended finger: Measure the inside diameter of the ring in millimetres. Compare your measurement with the size chart opposite. Measure only the inside edge of the ring without including the band thickness.

Measure Your Finger at Home

If you don't have a ring to measure, you can use a thin strip of paper or a piece of string. Wrap it comfortably around the base of your finger. Mark where the two ends meet. Lay it flat and measure the length in millimetres. Compare the measurement with the finger circumference shown in our size chart. Avoid pulling the paper or string too tightly, as this may result in choosing a ring that is too small.

Tips for the Perfect Fit

  • Measure your finger at room temperature.
  • Fingers naturally expand throughout the day, so measuring in the evening usually provides the most accurate result.
  • Avoid measuring immediately after exercise or when your hands are cold.
  • If your measurement falls between two sizes, we generally recommend choosing the larger size for a more comfortable fit.
  • Wider ring bands fit more snugly than thinner bands. If you're purchasing a wide band, you may wish to select half a size larger.

Buying a Ring for Someone Else

If you're purchasing a ring as a surprise, you can discreetly borrow a ring the recipient already wears on the correct finger and measure its inside diameter using the chart above. If you're unsure between two sizes, choosing the larger size is generally the safer option.
